Group Tour Services
Valley Forge and Montgomery County, PA are a priority destination for many high-school and middle-school groups, church folk, military reunions, retirement communities, clubs and other organizations. Groups travel to Valley Forge not just for great educational experiences at historic sites, but for a wide range of other activities throughout the county that complement our heritage attractions.
FOR PROFESSIONAL TOUR OPERATORS
Our job is to make your job easier! Our free services for group tour operators include:
● Area expertise. We often hear from tour operators how glad they are that we let them know about attractions, restaurants and other local experiences they didn't know about
● Hotels and lodging assistance. Simply tell us your needs, and we can consolidate proposals for you or send an RFP to our partners to contact you directly
● Itinerary assistance. We can simply make suggestions of sites and events for your group to enjoy, enabling you the freedom of discovering our treasures yourself. Or we can line up a complete list of where to go and what to do. Your choice
● Free Valley Forge gifts. We can arrange for swag to be waiting for your guests at your hotel(s)
● Free gift basket. We'll collect appealing products that are "Made in Montco" and put together an attractive basket as a raffle for your guests
● Free guide service. First-timers to Valley Forge National Historical Park appreciate the knowledge and insight of professional tour operators we arrange
FOR TEACHERS, GROUP LEADERS OR GROUP MEMBERS
For Teachers, Group Leaders or Group Members:
● For groups of less than 10, our visitor liaison can help you plan things to do, suggest places to stay and more. Email Kirsten Tallman at our Visitor Center: tallman@valleyforge.org.
● We provide free group tour planning services for groups of 10 or more; with schools, our groups are sometimes as large as 150-200 students! Fill out our group tour information form to let us know more about your group and your trip to Valley Forge or elsewhere in Montgomery County.
● If you're already working with a tour company, let us know. We can collaborate on providing the best possible experience. Simply email your group name and contact information to tours@valleyforge.org.
